Our History
Reklaim Technologies was founded in 2003 by two entrepreneurs who recognized the potential in clean waste-to-energy technologies and had the knowledge and experience to commercialize the process. Founders Rollie Dawson and Chuck Sartain have more than 50 years of combined expertise in planning and managing the construction of complicated projects ranging from heavy industrial facilities to medical research facilities. After studying waste-to-energy technology, they saw the potential to build a high-tech facility that was a hybrid of a recycling operation and an energy plant.
Drawing on their contacts and prior experience, they have assembled a team of first-rate engineers, managers and financial advisors committed to studying viable technologies that had been languishing in research labs. Together the team formed a company with a common vision for environmental stewardship, improving the options for waste reduction, and bringing alternative energy sources to market.
Today, Reklaim has the financial backing of socially and environmentally conscious investors and an experienced management team that is ready to grow the company nationally and globally. In 2008 the company commissioned the first phase of its reclamation center in Boardman, Oregon with plans to expand rapidly across the United States.
Reklaim is a Washington C Corporation. Our main office is in Bellevue, Washington.
